UMO Jazz Orchestra’s spring season now on sale



UMO Jazz Orchestra’s spring season has been published. Highlights of the spring are for example concerts with Timo Lassy and Valtteri Laurell Pöyhönen featuring brand new material, Club For Five & UMO Glenn Miller 110%, which celebrates Glenn Miller’s anniversary and two concerts with award-winning jazz singer Kurt Elling.

Previously performed concerts, which are back by popular demand are for example soul-oriented Tuomo x UMOVille & Valle, a colorful children’s music project for the whole family and concerts with Verneri Pohjola at the cultural houses of Helsinki.

On Good Friday, jazz audience quiets down to celebrate Eastern at UMO Jazz Orchestra’s Silent Music – Music for Holy Weekconcert, featuring soloist Jukka Perko. On 30th April UMO Jazz Orchestra, Tapiola Sinfonietta and Sami Pitkämö set the mood for May Day celebration in an entertaining concert in the spirit of Sinatra.

Spring features also a new concert series played on the first Monday of every month at Koko Jazz Club.
